Tourism And Recreation

Tourism is the second most important sector after manufacturing sector in the economic development of the state of Malacca. Malacca is rich with resources history, culture and arts to make the state of Melaka places of tourist attractions in the country and abroad. Jasin is the third region in terms of population, economic contribution and development in the state of Malacca. Jasin tourism sector there are several historical and recreational products that have been and are being developed such as the Museum of Agriculture Jasin, Masjid Tun Teja, Puteri Gunung Ledang Lagenda in shavings, Golf Courses, such as Orna Resort and Golden Valley, Village of Fish and Serkam Umbai , Food Production Park (Tropical Fruit Farm) in Selandar Square, Jasin and Agro-Tourism in Jus Dam. It is expected that new products will also be developed as Merlimau Corridor, Valley Ledang, Chinchin and Kesang.

Heritage tourism is a major component of the tourism industry and the state of Malacca is the main tourist attractions. Among the several attractions in the area including the tomb of Tun Teja Jasin, Masjid Portuguese and Jasin District Agricultural Museum.
